Fun NEW Products!

We are researching and experimenting to bring you a brand new product for FSW!  Scrubs!  We have been studying for almost a year and we have created a fabulous foaming salt scrub and a dreamy foaming sugar scrub!  And on top of that – they are made with real beer!

Our scrubs are created with a gentle foaming soap, luscious oil and Shea butter.  Scoop out scrub with dry fingers. Rub on wet skin until salt dissolves. The foaming action also washes the skin, so it’s a double duty product!  A body wash with exfoliant!

Our first roll was an Avery Brewing Favorite!  El Gose Foaming Salt Scrub created with real beer and scented with Lime and Sea Salt!  We can’t wait for our friends at Avery Brewing to try them out!

A New Adventure for FSW!

Today we set up our mini-shop in a new space at Cherry Creek Mall (Denver) called The District Shops.  This is a space for hand crafted items created by artisans from the greater Denver area.  FSW will be located on the Main Floor –  The Marketplace!  This area will be broken into 5 “Districts”.  Each district will have a unique background, unique look, and unique products.  Districts include Food District, Vintage District, Boutique District, 5280 District (Colorado products), Little District (Kids products), Spa District, and Gentlemen’s District.  FSW will feature all of our gentlemen’s products, beer soaps and little gentlemen’s products.  This is our first foray into a brick and mortar enclosure.  As you are probably aware, we have our Shopify web page and we participate in many weekend shows, but now we will have a permanent outlet for many of our products!

The District Shops will open officially on June 1.  Please drop into this new facility inside the Cherry Creek Mall and check out our products and other products created by our fellow Colorado artisans

What can Activated Charcoal do for ME??

WHAT IS ACTIVATED CHARCOAL?

Activated charcoal is carbon soot that’s been treated to give it a sponge-like structure, with lots of holes. If you enlarge an image of activated charcoal, you will see it’s very jagged and irregular, giving it a larger surface area  This enlarged surface area is particularly handy for soaking up substances.

In skin care, there isn’t anything on your skin that you want to stay on there when you’re ready to wash your face (except maybe good bacteria, but they multiply quickly), so it’s OK to use it regularly.   A normal cleanser removes surface dirt and oil through the use of surfactants like synthetic detergents, syndets (synthetic products) or soaps .  But these cleansers don’t really get into pores.  A side note here – yes, almost all commercial soaps and cleansers are synthetic detergents (imagine washing your face with Tide!)

Activated Charcoal Cleansers and masks are able to draw dirt and oil from the pores. Thus keeping the skin clear and healthy.
